Vaccinations
Vaccinations are important in order to help prevent our pets from getting diseases. When your pet comes in for a vaccination, we will do a full health check and discuss which vaccine would be most suitable for your pet.
During the annual check-up, we quite often pick up on problems your pet may have before they become serious. Examples include heart disease, skin issues, arthritis and dental problems. So it is important to book in for a yearly check and we can update your pet’s vaccination status if required. Your puppy or kitten will require a course of vaccinations between 6 and 16 weeks of age then one every year afterwards. A yearly heartworm injection for dogs can be used in puppies from 12 weeks of age. Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes and can be deadly to dogs. Please call us for more information on our vaccinations and heartworm preventatives.
